AYO OGUNSAN FÊTES ASIWAJU TINUBU AT 71; DESCRIBES HIM AS ‘A FOREMOST CHAMPION OF DEMOCRACY IN NIGERIA’

It is a day of rejoicing, thanksgiving, and prayers throughout Nigeria as the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu celebrates his 71st birthday.
The Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) and Chairman of Executive Group, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan has poured encomiums on the septuagenarian whom he described as ‘foremost champion of Democracy in Nigeria’.
Dr. Ayo Ogunsan said: ‘If there is anyone that has defined Nigeria’s democracy in this Fourth Republic, it is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. You have championed the dividends of democracy and enthroned democratic ideals since 1999 when you became Governor of Lagos State till date.’
‘Your unrelenting stance for democracy, alongside other great personalities and groups, during the military junta ensured that Nigeria returned to the unbroken years of democracy which we now enjoy since 1999.’
‘It is not surprising that you have been elected as the President-elect of this great country. It is reward as ordained by God. You deserve it. You have paid your dues.’
‘I pray for health and wellness for you. I pray that all what you seek will be provided by God. I pray that you will be able to lead Nigeria aright in this new dispensation which is upon us come 29th May.’
