Atiku’s Spokesperson Explains Tinubu’s Decision To Appoint Bianca Ojukwu
By Trek Africa Newspaper

Demola Olarewaju, the Special Assistant on Digital Media Strategy to former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Bianca Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
In a recent cabinet reshuffle, Tinubu named Ambassador Bianca among seven new ministers pending Senate confirmation. The other nominees include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda (Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction), Muhammadu Dingyadi (Labour & Employment), Dr. Jumoke Oduwole (Industry, Trade and Investment), Idi Mukhtar Maiha (Livestock Development), Yusuf Ata (State, Housing and Urban Development), and Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad (State Education).
Many see Bianca Ojukwu’s appointment as a move to bolster support in the South-East. However, Olarewaju argued on X that this strategy would not yield results, claiming that Bianca lacks electoral influence and that no voter in the region would be swayed to support Tinubu due to her position.
