The ruling All Progressives Congress in Lagos State has sent a strong warning to those planning to foment trouble in the state in the aftermath of recently concluded elections to have a change of hearts.

The spokesman of the party, Mr Seye Oladejo gave this warning at a news briefing in Ikeja, Lagos today. He said the state will not allow a repeat of the sad memory of ENDSARS in the state noting that if there were records of violence in some parts of the state, it does not amount to calls for the cancellation of the outcome of the exercise.

Oladejo advised that rather than those who lost out in the election calling for violence, the best place to show their grievances is the Election Petition Tribunal. He noted that BVAS recorded 88% success in polling units across the country in the last general elections.

On his part, the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso said Governor Sanwo-Olu will not shy away in keeping the people together irrespective of their tribes and religion. He said people with divisive motives must not be allowed to destroy the heritage of the state like was the case during the ENDSARS protest.

Omotoso told Trek Africa Newspaper that it was irresponsible on the part of anyone to whip up sentiments because they lost out in the last election.

On the collection of Certificate of Return received by the Governor today, the Commissioner Gbenga Omotoso described it as the beginning of another phase to a greater Lagos.
