ANOTHER BUILDING DISASTER IN-WAITING: LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT NEED TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION

The building construction is situated at No 25 Igbehin Adun Street, Makoko, Yaba, Lagos.
A Twitter user has taken to the microblogging platform to raise alarm over a building under construction in the Yaba area of Lagos State.
According to him, the developer is allegedly planning to add another floor to the building.
He stated that the pillars cannot hold the weight of the building and once another one is added, it’s likely to collapse.
“A disaster waiting to happen. This building is situated at 25 Igbehin Adun Street Makoko Yaba Lagos. The developer is allegedly planning to add another floor. Someone should tag the Lagos state government,” he tweeted on Friday, May 19, 2023.
All relevant authorities must act appropriate now.
