Amori assures Urhobos of quality representation

SENATOR Ighoyota Amori has promised to give quality representation to the people of Delta Central Senatorial District when elected to represent the Senatorial district as a Senator in 2019

Speaking during the inauguration of ward canvassers across the local government area, Delta State, Amori said his desire is to attract people oriented projects to the Urhobo nation is his motivation to run.

One of the Sapele Local Government Area coordinators for the 2019 Amori For Senate project, Chief Austin Atiti, said “the canvassers who were carefully selected from the 11 wards in the council area are persons of proven track records in political mobilisation in the area”.

Director-General of the 2019 Amori for Senate, Chief Moses Odibo, while inaugurating the ward canvassers, urged them to “be up and doing; the 2019 elections will be grassroots driven”, adding that “the assignment your leaders at the ward level have recommended you for is for the party primaries and the general election in 2019.

Meanwhile, Prince Joseph Atseyinku, a political leader in Sapele wards 6 and 8 said; “I am committed to work for the realization of the 2019 senatorial ambition of Chief Ighoto Amori, as I did in 2015.

Atseyinku who spoke when the Amori campaign team paid him a visit in Sapele, said “I recall the exemplary leadership style, empowerment programmes, and other numerous contributions made by Chief Amori to the development of Delta State while he was Commissioner and Political Adviser in the different administrations in the State.

“We have consulted among ourselves and have resolved to work for Chief Ighoyota Amori. We know Amori is a good man just that some persons he has empowered have failed to carry along others at the grassroots. We would deliver Sapele wards 6 and 8 for Amori”.

Former Commissioner in the defunct Bendel State, Chief Margaret Unukegwo and former Sapele Council Chairman, Mr.Godwin Atose who spoke separately when the Amori campaign visited them, expressed their readiness to work for the victory of Chief Amori in 2019. They said Amori have contributed immensely to the building of the Ibori political family.
