AIG IDOWU OWOHUNWA NOW IN CHARGE OF FORCE CID ANNEX ALAGBON

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State Command, AIG Idowu Owohunwa is now redeployed to the Forced CID Annex in Alagbon, Lagos. This redeployment becomes pertinent following his promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police. Idowu Owohunwa is a highly intelligent, versed and effective senior officer who has distinguished himself in operations, administration, crime fighting, and community peace building.
Trek Africa Newspaper recalled that the new AIG Idowu Owohunwa took the office of Commissioner of Police in Lagos Command on 14th February this year and has actively played immense role in ensuring safety and security in Lagos State. Before becoming CP of Lagos State Police Command, AIG Idowu Owohunwa was the Principal Staff Officer to the former Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, a role which positioned him to monitor policing issues across all the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT on daily basis.
Before then, Owohunwa had served as the Personal Assistant to IGP Solomon Arase (Rtd); Head of the Special Investigations Unit, FCID, Abuja; Head of the Security and Enforcement Unit of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Abuja; AC (Operations), Katsina State Police Command; AC (Administration), Zone 7 Police Headquarters, Abuja, and Assistant Director, (Department of Internal Security) Office of the National Security Adviser, Abuja.

One criminal mechanic Francis Kolawole Oladele was just brought to your office this week.He trickishly stole my car a Lexus RX400H Hybrid Jeep since November 2020 all efforts to get the Police in Mowe,to get my car back from him was,being frustrated by the DPO of Redemption Camp Police Station who once wanted to help him to persuade me to sell the car to his criminal syndicate. Even after I alerted him to their antics, lastI year he refused to handle the case properly. Repercussion of his support is the criminal going on to steal some military people’s cars,too. He got annoyed with my refusal to sell my car to the criminals and refused to handle the case judiciously. My car a Lexus RX400H Hybrid Jeep is still in this criminals workshop because the DPO of Redemption Camp Police Station refused to instruct him to complete the work on my car and bring it to their Police Station since January 2023. Kindly help me to get my car back in good condition because Oladele had vandalized it and damaged the engine.I am a 69years old Lagos State Government Pensioner.I bought the car and protected its front and back for easy and safe movement to Lagos and back on the Lagos Ibadan Express way where they had once broken my leg in 2014 before I retired in 2015.I have a petition that I submitted to Owode Area Commander last December but was,not acted on by the DPO of Redemption Camp Mowe.
