Rather, he wants them to focus on competence. I reminded you that we had Christian-Christian ticket in the past. Obafemi Awolowo and his deputy, Akintola were both Christians, nobody shouted Christian-Christian because what we wanted was the dividend of democracy. Akintola and Fani-Kayode were also Christians. Even the four (4) regions we had – Western, Easter, Midwest, and Northern – only 1 had Muslim leaders.’

‘Through your vote by the time I become a senator, our father will be President and she (Senator Oluremi Tinubu) will become First Lady of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Our father is kindhearted and has many good attributes, we are going to vote for him.

Bring out your voter cards, encourage your siblings and family to vote APC especially our father Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’, the lawmaker told the people of Lagos Central senatorial district on the sidelines of the empowerment programme facilitated by Senator Oluremi Tinubu OON.

Eshinlokun added: ‘In 1999, when we came into office, Lagos was labelled the dirtiest city in Africa but now the 5th largest economy in Africa. After the north, it is the south. Vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President.’
