AHEAD 2023: ASIWAJU ‘GO ON S’OUN’ AS AFENIFERE INCONTROVERTIBLY OKAYS TINUBU PRESIDENCY

When we talk about leadership, the Yoruba race is second to none. They may be angry, lash out at one another, or even frontally attack one another but the fold always know how to rein itself in.
From the days of the sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo to the likes of Michael Adekunle Ajasin, Lateef Kayode ‘Baba Kekere’ Jakande, Olabisi Onabanjo, Abraham Adesanya, Bola Ige – who held sway during the 2nd Republic Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) – to the days of Lam Adesina, Olusegun Osoba, Bisi Akande just to mention a few names, the Yoruba race is always guided by the values, principles, and decorum of Omoluabi.
Charity has finally come from home for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2023 presidential elections, Trek Africa Newspaper can reliably report.

Today, the political bigwigs of Yoruba extraction have in bespoke Yoruba said ‘go on s’oun’ to the presidency of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This happened today in Akure, Ondo state which currently holds the ace because Baba Reuben Fasoranti, possibly the last man standing of the long list of Awo disciples reside there.
The Awoists as they are fondly called believe in the principles which has set the Southwest heads and shoulders above others as propagated by Chief Obafemi Awolowo. And Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a man who deeply holds Yoruba political leadership in high esteem is not afraid to go home.

Recall that he has before now toured virtually all the Royal fathers of Yoruba race. Asiwaju even received the prayers of Iku Baba Yeye, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi before he joined the ancestors.
Today, beginning with the nostalgic Yoruba anthem ‘Imole Ogo Adulawo’, the meeting of the Afenifere sociopolitical group was set into array with speeches upon speeches. Trek Africa Newspaper can reliably report that the entire meeting culminated with the political blessings of Baba Reuben Fasoranti who laid hands on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and prayed wholeheartedly.
Further, Chief Olu Falae, the presidential candidate of Alliance for Democracy – another offshoot of first Republic Action Group – endorsed Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for President.
In his response, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu thanked all the revered Yoruba sons and daughters present in Akure to witness the epoch-making event. He also used the opportunity to present his Action Plan to the great personalities who converged there.
To the man who wholeheartedly received him and prayerfully led him to the 2023 polls, Baba Reuben Fasoranti, Asiwaju declared: ‘You will be alive to attend my inauguration as the President of Nigeria in 2023 by the grace of God.’
The esteemed list of Yoruba sons and daughters at the meeting include Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu, Professor Isaac Adewole, Chief Olu Falae, General Alani Akinrinade, General Olu Bajowa, Mr Sola Iji, Dr Kunle Olajide, Senator Cornelius Adebayo, Bashorun Seinde Arogbofa, and Chief Bisi Akande.
Others are Otunba Gbenga Daniel; Senator Iyiola Omisore; Dare Babarinsa, Chief Pius Akinyelure; Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Bayo Lawal; Deputy Governor of Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Further, Chief Segun Adesegun, representing former Governor Segun Osoba; Senator Tony Adefuye; Senator Dayo Adeyeye; the leaders of Afenifere in the six southwest states, were present among other notable personalities.
