AGEGE CHAIRMANSHIP HOPEFUL, HON. TAIWO OLASUNKANMI SCALES PARTY HURDLE, TO VIE AT PRIMARIES

Agege LGA Chairmanship hopeful, Hon. Taiwo Olasunkanmi Samuel has scaled the Chairmanship screening exercise in his party, All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the July 12 LGA/LCDA general elections in Lagos. This puts him in contention with 6 others who also scaled the screening exercise, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.
The cleared 7 to vie at the APC party primaries are Hon. Taiwo Olasunkanmi Samuel (fondly called TOS); Akerele Salaudeen Idowu; Ogunji Abiodun; Sola Osolana; Tunde Azeez; Bukola Sofidipe; and Oduwusi Yusuf. The screening process assessed candidates based on political experience, public service record, educational background, party loyalty and proposed developmental blueprint for Agege LGA.
The party primaries will determine the APC’s flagbearer for the Local Government elections.
