Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Chairman-Elect, Adetola Adunni Abubakar Receives Certificate of Return • Assures all inclusive governance

The newly elected Chairman-Elect of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Hon. Mrs. Adetola Adunni Abubakar alongside other Fifty Six (56) Local Government and LCDA Chairmen-Elect received her Certificate of Return from the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), sealing her saturday 12th July, 2025 election as the Executive Chairman-Elect, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.
She pledged to consolidate on the achievements, success stories of the outgoing and past Chairmen of the LCDA while assuring to run an all inclusive, people-focused governance.
The certificate presentation was celebrated as a victory for the people of Agboyi-Ketu and a new mandate for greater development.

The Chairman-Elect of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Hon. Mrs. Adetola Adunni Abubakar, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, officially received her Certificate of Return from the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) following her election during the recently concluded local government elections in Lagos in presence of the Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC), Lagos State, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, immediate past Chairman of APC, Lagos State, Alhaji Tunde Balogun and other Chieftains and Members of the Party in Lagos at the Sabo, Yaba office of the electoral body.
Earlier, the Chairman of LASIEC, Hon. Justice Bola Okikiolu-Ighile (Rtd.), who presided over the ceremony, praised the peaceful nature of the elections and the enthusiasm displayed by Lagosians across all local councils.
“We are proud of the peaceful conduct of the 2025 local government elections,” she stated. “This presentation symbolizes the voice of the people and the strength of our democratic institutions.”
The ceremony witnessed the presence of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olorundare Moshood Jimoh and other senior officers to ensure peace and security.
The event also saw the presentation of certificates to all the councillors across the State.
