Abia’s Newly Appointed Police Chief Sets Out To Combat Crime With Cutting-Edge Technology And Intelligence

Danladi Isa has officially taken office as the 34th Commissioner of Police in Abia State, promising to enhance crime-fighting efforts through advanced intelligence gathering and technology.

 

Isa, who assumed his role in Umuahia, emphasized his commitment to upholding human rights during his tenure. He made this pledge after receiving handover notes from his predecessor, Kenechukwu Onwuemelie. Isa outlined his mission to foster peace, create a supportive environment, and collaborate with all stakeholders to maintain tranquility in the state.

 

“This approach is vital for addressing modern crime challenges, enabling us to prevent crimes before they happen,” Isa stated.

The new Commissioner also highlighted the importance of cooperation with other security agencies and community support for his success. He assured that he would be fair, impartial, and accessible to the residents of Abia. Isa cautioned officers against corruption, stating that any unprofessional conduct would result in strict disciplinary action.

He also expressed gratitude to his predecessor, Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, for his accomplishments and pledged to build on these successes to achieve a safer and more peaceful Abia. Isa hails from Oganenigu, Dekina LGA, Kogi State.
