‘ABBA KYARI IS A PROFESSOR OF CRIME BUSTING’ – CSP PHILIP RIENINWA

Maintaining law and order, of which combating crime is key, is the major responsibility of the Nigeria Police Force. A police officer will only be regarded as successful when he/she meets the criteria.
The IGP Intelligence Response Team is on the rise today because it meets the criteria. The crack team led by DCP Abba A. Kyari is responsible for the busting of high profile criminal cases like the kidnap kingpin Evans, Cajetan Otti, Hamisu Bala, and many others in Lagos, Bayelsa, Rivers, and the North. The multiple award winner has been commended within and outside the shores of the country.
CSP Philip Rieninwa who works directly with the widely celebrated Abba as the Coordinator of IGP Intelligence Response Team Southwest was also full of praises for his boss. Speaking with the Publisher, Trek Africa Newspaper, Oki Samson at the Message Magazine’s Public Lecture and Award event, CSP Philip said: ‘Abba Kyari is a professor of crime busting, the brain behind the successful high profile arrests in Lagos, Bayelsa, Rivers, and the North. He motivates his men to do more than they can naturally do. He is amiable and is the youngest of all DCPs in the nation’
On his role in the southwest, the IRT Regional Coordinator charged governors in the zone to support the police, ‘Fighting crime in the modern society is heavily dependent on technology. If the state governors can liaise with the Inspector-General of Police and DCP Abba Kyari to provide all needed to fight crime, I believe crime will be a thing of the past.’
He also warned youths to desist from crime, ‘Crime is against the norm of society. Crime will not take you anywhere, IRT will overwhelm you. A strong warning is sounded that they should desist from crime. We know there is no job but you can find something that will get you off idleness which is devil’s workshop.’
