The Culture of Royalty is One Year +photos

September 1st., 2025 marked one year anniversary and the celebration of the Royal Culture Event.
The significant and momentous occasion took place last year on Sunday 1st of September, 2024 at the Bola Event Center in Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos State.
It was proudly organized by Northern Nigeria Traditional Youth Chiefs in 17 southern states of Nigeria under the Leadership of the Sarkin Samarin Yamma(SSY), Southern States of Nigeria.
On behalf of other chiefs, I humbly extend heartfelt appreciation to our Sagacious Paramount Youth Chief Cmd. Amb. Dr. Sani Salisu Danmuttaqa for his honor in turbaning us as his chiefs. This act of recognition deepens our commitment to uphold the values of Royalty, Loyalty, Respect, and
to the FSSY and Masarautar Arewa Jahar Yamma, by reinforcing our collective responsibilities to protect and advance our cultural heritage and values.
The ROYAL CULTURE embodies Turbaning, Investiture, Royal Outing Induction and the principles of royalty, ethics, heritage, and the royal traditions in term of respect, attire, greetings, sounds, dancing and discipline. It serves as a platform for addressing pressing national issues, such as combating drug abuse, ensuring security stability, promoting peaceful coexistence, empowering youth, fostering religious tolerance, and engaging in politics free of bitterness. Moreover, it emphasizes the importance of recognizing humanitarian efforts and celebrating the contributions of both established and prospective chiefs and honoring outstanding personalities in our communities and the nation at large.
A vital aspect of our mission is to raise awareness among northerners living in southern Nigeria to familiarise and continue to adhere to the chieftaincy laws of the host communities, in ensuring compliance and harmony. The structure which we are not included should not be abused and must be respected.
In addition to always pay Royal homage and give respect to traditional institutions of our own state of origin , abiding by the standing roles of the Royalty.
We express our gratitude and appreciation to Mallam Dr. Nasir Wada -Taskan Sarauta from Kano State who served as the event’s Keynote speaker, for his invaluable insights and unavoidable absence of Sarkin Ayyukan Zauzzau, may Allah grant him Aljannatul Firdausi.
We acknowledge and appreciate the presence of the Special Guests of Honours and Guest Speakers, the NDLEA Lagos State Command Commander , Mal. Abubakar Liman Wali , Amb. Dr. Sheik Shehu Abdulkadir Jimoh, United Nations-Volunteer Diplomat and Sarkin Qaddiriya Of Africa, HRH Rabiu Sulaiman Sarkin Hausawa of Kuje-Amuwo, Kakakin Majalisa 17ssn, SSA on Youths to the Lagos State Governor, Comrade Alabi Oladimeji and numerous other representatives from office of Deputy Senate President, the Lagos State Police Command, spiritual leaders, youth organizations, and the SSY chiefs across 17 southern states, whose contributions have been instrumental in our journey. And more importantly invited traditional leaders and The Overall winner of the Royal Culture Award of the Year Alh. Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, Sarkin Alimosho Overall; also other Recipients of Humanitarian Recognition Awards.
We also pay tribute to our late mentor and role model, for his unalloyed support, prayers and guidance, HRH Mallam Haruna Mai-Yasin Katsina CON, whose legacy of selflessness and leadership remains unmatched in the history of Arewa in the southern states. His memory will continue to inspire us as we strive for excellence. We appreciate the heir of his throne, magajin Sarkin Sasa sardaunan Yamma HRH Alh. Ahmed Haruna Maiyasin Katsina ll.
Finally, we recognize the crucial support from our Sarkin Samarin Yamma Development Initiative trustees, Alh. Sani Yahya Pikin, Mukthari Miko ,Hajiya Ummi Muhammad Sarauniya Yamma, Dr.Nasir Wada, Abdulhamid Abubakar Dan Iyan Yamma and Chief GunZaar of Lagos State, Chief Abdülganiyu Dada among others.
Finally, Northern Nigeria Traditional Youth Chiefs under the Leadership of SSY-17ssn, use this medium to sincerely thank ZAIMA FARM LIMITED for being the sole supplier of the Drinks during the event.
