Former Lagos First Lady, Abimbola Jakande Excited About Peaceful LGAs/LCDAs Elections, Prays For Triumph of Son

The Wife of the First Executive Governor of Lagos State (late Alhaji Dr. Lateef Kayode Jakande), Alhaja Abimbola Sikirat Jakande was full of gladness and joy as the LGAs/LCDAs elections across Lagos proceeded in a peaceful manner. She also thanked Odi-Olowo residents for coming out in numbers to exercise their civic rights, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.
The former first lady who cast her vote at her polling unit, Ward L, Ilupeju, Odi-Olowo LCDA said: ‘I am happy that I’m witnessing today, and I’m thanking everyone that has come out to vote. Thank you a lot, I am grateful. We will not be put to shame. I know that the result of today’s election will bring joy and goodness to everyone.’

On the anticipated triumph of her son, the Jakande matriarch said: ‘I pray that Oluseyi Jakande will do good, God will help him, people will love and favor him and God will help him in his works, and I also pray for everyone that will be joining him in his administration that they will all be successful and will not be put to shame, because Baba did it and it was a success, so by God’s grace Seyi and everyone that will be helping him will all be successful.’

‘I also pray for Lagos state that this state will continue to move forward. Lagos state will continue to be successful and that God will continue to help everyone in government’, she concluded.
