Lagos CP Ishola Decorates Matilda Ngbaronye, Omolola Opeifa, Ayo Elijah, Segun Talabi, PPRO Hundeyin As CSPs

With new rank comes great responsibilities. This summed the charge of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olanrewaju Ishola today as he decorated the newly promoted Police officers under his command, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
The colorful and well attended decoration ceremony which was held at the Lagos Police Officers’ Mess, GRA Ikeja had family, friends, well-wishers of the newly elevated officers in attendance. Also present are senior police officers which includes the Deputy Commissioner of Police, DC Operations, Lagos Command, DCP Fatai Tijani; DC SCID, DCP Lateef Ahmed; DC Administration, DCP Khan Salihu; AC Administration, ACP Mary Ayim; Area Commander, Area C, ACP Ayoola Oladunni; Area Commander, Area F, ACP Paul Azuka Okafor, Commander, Mopol 20, ACP Idris Abdullahi Abubakar among.
Some of the new promotees promoted from Superintendents of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP) are the Divisional Police Officer, DPO Iponri division, CSP Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye; Former DPO Iba division now DPO Ojo division, CSP Omolola Opeifa; DPO Man-Center division, CSP Ayo Elijah; DPO Isashi division, CSP Segun Akintola Talabi; PPRO Lagos Command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin; CSP Aduroja Akinola; DPO Ago-Okota division, CSP Famous Cole Olarinde; Officer in Charge Computer, CSP Augustina Ikeh; CSP Hauwa Idris Adamu; others are SP Temitope Ojo among others.
The total of fifty (50) Superintendents of Police promoted to the next rank as Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs), Twenty two (22) Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to the next rank as Superintendents of Police (SPs) and Twelve (12) Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to the next rank of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs).
The elegant DPO of Iponri division, CSP Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye who was in high spirits during the decoration, spoke on behalf of all the newly promoted and decorated officers. In her brief remarks with the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP, CSP Matilda Ngbaronye stated that ‘this is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. This new ranks comes with fresh responsibility which I trust that the good Lord will help us to deliver credibly and excellently. On behalf of my colleagues, I express my sincere appreciation to the indefatigable Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, the Executive Chairman of Police Service Commission, DIG Hashimu Argungurtd, our excellent CP of Lagos Command, CP Olanrewaju Ishola for this trust accorded us.’
The eloquent and elegant officer, CSP Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye who, over the years and in various capacities displayed remarkable prowess, deep intelligence, and intense passion for the policing job also matches and advocates civility with professionalism in all of her endeavors.
As the newly promoted officers steps into their new ranks, it is expected that the joy will propel them to do more excellently and professionally, which will doubtless lead to more and more promotions in the nearest future in the Nigeria Police Force.
