LSSTF WINS NATIONAL DAILY’S MOST STRATEGIC GOVERNMENT SUPPORT INITIATIVE AWARD

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) over the weekend bagged the Most Strategic Government Support Initiative of the year (State) at the National Daily Awards ceremony which held at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
Emphasising the reason for the award, Trek Africa Newspaper gathered from the organizers that ‘the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has diligently utilised the funds to provide necessary security logistics and improve the welfare of security operatives for effective law enforcement and guarantee of law and order in Lagos state. There has been remarkable reduction of crime and insecurity in the state. Lagos State has recorded minimal incidence of kidnapping, banditry, terrorism in recent times while other states in the country have been on fire’.
‘The scorecard of the Trust Fund under the leadership of the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun has remained the stimulus for continued partnership and support of corporate entities and private individuals for a safe Lagos at all times.’
The Fund’s Board Member, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan and the Secretary, Mrs. Ada Onyeka were present at the colourful award ceremony to receive the award as the Most Strategic Government Support Initiative of the year (State).
Further, the Editor-in-chief of the National Daily Newspaper, Mr Sylvester Ebhodaghe said that the awards were made to encourage the recipients to do more in the areas they were recognised. Ebhodaghe said that Nigerians who distinguished themselves should be recognised with a view to spurring them to do more and encourage others to do well.
Other awardees at the event include the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Innovation and Infrastructure Governor of the Year; Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba as Man of the Year; Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo with Most Outstanding Innovative Leadership Award; Deputy Governor, Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro as Most Outstanding Peace Builder; Board Member of Lagos State Trust Fund, LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan bagged Excellence in Leadership and Service; Hon. Sergius Oseasochie Ogun as Lawmaker of the year (House of Representatives), MD/CEO, African Alliance Insurance Plc, Joyce Ojemudia as Insurance Personality of the Year; GAC Auto Group as Auto Brand of the year among others.
