SOMOLU LG CHAIRMAN ‘DULLAR’ RECEIVES LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION MEMBERS …applauded on management and staff welfare

As part of their familarization tour to the 57 councils in Lagos State, the State Local Governments Service Commission members were received at the Durosimi Secretariat Headquarters of Somolu Local Government by the Council Chairman, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu.
The Hon. Kamal Baiyewu led team was received at the Conference Hall of the council where top management team and representatives of the staff members cheered up the reception with warm embrace.

The Chairman of the Commission, Hon. Kamal Baiyewu, in his address thanked the staffs for their support, he further informed them that the commison members’ purpose of visit was to familiarize with the staffs, know their areas of challenges and to profer solutions. Baiyewu, the immediate past Council Chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun LG, applauded the Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu led administration of Somolu Local Government on the welfares of members of staff. He said he felt pleased and delighted about the feedback he heard from the members of staff, especially on the staff bus and the brand new giant power generator.

The five members of the commission namely Kamal Baiyewu (Chairman), Engr. Biodun Orekoya (Ikorodu Division), Taofeek Adaranijo (Ikeja Division), Ahmed Seriki (Epe Division) and Hakeem Bamgbola (Lagos Division) were present at the visit. The Permanent Secretaries and Directors of the Lagos State Local Governments Service Commission were also among the team that visited Somolu.
Mrs. Arinola Shodipo (Council Manager), Mrs. Mebude (Council Treasurer), Engr. Adenuga Abayomi (Council Engineer), Barrister Raji R.A. (Legal Officer), Sanitarian Adekunle A.A. (HOD, Environmental Health Services), Mr. Olatunji Ibrahim (Procurement Officer), Mrs. Hamzat (HOD, Education Department), Mrs. Samiat Oki-Shoye (Information Officer) and Comrade Abiodun Edu (NULGE Chairman) with his NULGE team were amongst the top council stakeholders present at the event.
