President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to depart the nation’s capital on Thursday for Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to observe Umrah, the Islamic spiritual pilgrimage.

According to an official statement released by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the journey is intended to provide the President with a period of spiritual reflection, devotion, and focused prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity, stability, and ongoing progress.

While in the Holy City, President Tinubu will participate in the traditional religious rites associated with Umrah, seeking blessings and divine guidance for the nation and its citizens.

Prior to his departure from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, the President will perform an official engagement at the airport’s Presidential Wing, where he is scheduled to commission newly acquired operational equipment for the Nigerian Air Force.

President Tinubu is expected to conclude his spiritual exercise and return to Nigeria next week.
