Senate Confirms Board Members For National Human Rights Commission And Fiscal Responsibility Commission

The Senate has confirmed President Bola Tinubu’s appointees into the boards of the National Human Rights Commission and the Fiscal Responsibility Commission.
Those confirmed for the National Human Rights Commission are Dr. Salamatu Hussaini Suleiman as Chairman, alongside ten others as members.
The Executive Director, News of the NTA, Ayo Adewuyi, was among those confirmed as members of the Commission.
Also confirmed are appointees for the Fiscal Responsibility Commission, with Dr. Abdullahi Maikano Saidu as Executive Chairman, and six other members representing the geo-political zones.
Meanwhile, the Senate has urged authorities to deploy more troops around the Taraba, Bauchi and Plateau border to curb insecurity.
