1 ARRESTED, FILLING STATION CLOSED IN RIVERS AS NSCDC CG SPECIAL INTELLIGENCE SQUAD DISCOVERS ILLEGAL DIESEL BASE

In their continued effort to protect national assets, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) through its Commandant-General Special Intelligence Squad (CG SIS) yesterday sealed a filling station in Onne, Rivers state. This is because it is being used as storage base for illegally refined diesel, AGO, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
In the process, the Special Intelligence Squad led by DC Apollos Dandaura arrested one suspect and impounded over 3000 litres of adulterated petroleum product.
In a brief statement by the NSCDC Director of Public Relations, Commandant Olusola Odumosu stated that, “The CG’s Special Intelligence Squad will not relent in its efforts to stop brigands who want to reduce the economic power of the country.”
The CG’s SIS Head, thanked the Commandant- General, Dr. Ahmed Audi for the confidence placed in the Squad.
