Ondo Governor’s CPS, Ebenezer Adeniyan Donates N1M to NUJ for Improved Power Supply at Press Centre

Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor of Ondo State, has donated ₦1 million to the Ondo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) to enhance electricity supply at the union’s Press Centre in Akure.

Adeniyan presented the donation to the union’s Vice Chairman, Mr. Hakeem Gbadamosi, during the February edition of the NUJ’s monthly Congress in Akure on Thursday.

Speaking at the event, Adeniyan explained that the donation is part of his ongoing monthly support for media organizations in the state, which he initiated in February 2024.

He expressed gratitude to the union, media organizations, and journalists for their unwavering support for the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

NUJ Lauds Adeniyan’s Commitment to Journalism

In his response, Mr. Hakeem Gbadamosi appreciated the CPS for his generosity and dedication to the welfare of journalists and the NUJ.

He stated:

“The CPS, who is a former state and national officer of the NUJ, has been a good ambassador of the union and the journalism profession.”

Gbadamosi also commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for reappointing Adeniyan as CPS, describing it as a recognition of his hard work and dedication in projecting the image of the Governor and his administration.

A special prayer session was held for Adeniyan, wishing him a successful tenure in office.
