LSSTF Presents Operational Vehicle to LASEMA to Strengthen Emergency Response in Lagos

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has presented an operational vehicle to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), further reinforcing the state’s emergency preparedness and rapid response capability.
The vehicle was received by the Permanent Secretary/Director-General of LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, during a formal handover ceremony at the LSSTF HQ in Ikeja. The presentation was made by the LSSTF Director of Administration, Mr. Degbola Lewis, on behalf of the Fund’s Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan.
The donation comes on the heels of a courtesy visit earlier paid by Dr. Oke-Osanyintolu to Dr. Ogunsan, during which both agencies reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional collaboration to enhance public safety across Lagos State.
Dr. Oke-Osanyintolu commended LSSTF for its consistent support to safety and security agencies, noting that such interventions have significantly improved emergency response outcomes.
LASEMA, the state’s statutory emergency management agency, is responsible for disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness, search and rescue operations, and 24-hour multi-agency emergency coordination.
