INEC ASSURES LASIEC OF CONTINUED SUPPORT AHEAD OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS

Ahead of the preparation for the forthcoming Local Government Elections in Lagos State, the Chairman of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission Hon. Justice Bola Okikiolu-Ighile (rtd) along with the Electoral Commission and management team paid a Courtesy Visit to the INEC Lagos Office, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.
Hon. Okikiolu-Ighile appreciated the statutory bond and the working relationship between the two Election Management Bodies. “The synergy has provided seamless electoral processes leading to free, fair and credible elections in the State.”
She therefore solicited continuous support and collaboration.
Responding, the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Lagos, Professor Ayobami Salami assures INEC’s commitment to supporting the Commission anywhere in ensuring that LASIEC conducts smooth, transparent and credible Local Government Elections in Lagos State.
