Hon. Amodu-Ejalonibu, CP Jimoh Set To Host Massive Reunion with University Classmates in Lagos

The Senior Special Assistant (Housing) to Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Hon. ESV Ayodeji Amodu-Ejalonibu and the Lagos Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh are set to host their Political Science/International Studies class of 1997 from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria to a massive Reunion ceremony.
The students who finished their university education over 20 years ago will be re-enacting their long-term friendships and classroom memories as they engage in various activities throughout the weekend starting from tomorrow Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September 2025.
The Senior Special Assistant (Housing) to Gov. Sanwo-Olu on Housing, ESV. Hon. Ayodeji Amodu-Ejalonibu hinted that the event will witness a wide array of scheduled programs that will take place at Watercress Hotel Ikeja, Lagos.
After the arrival of participants from their various destinations on Friday, there would be a grand opening dinner from 8pm – 10 pm. The next day, Saturday will feature an Aerobic Exercise with sports wear at 8am followed by a breakfast.
Afterwards, there will be a City Tour of Lagos in which the participants will be dressed in their Reunion Adire on jeans or Chinos. The 3rd day, Sunday, 28th September will begin with breakfast followed by bonding session and presentations.
The evening will be a Gala night that would feature traditional dancers to be capped by the performance of the Lagos Iconic Symbol of tradition which is the Eyo Festival performance. Participants will be dressed in their English or traditional outfits for the Gala night. By Monday morning, the participants will be departing to their various destinations after a massive weekend of relaxation, reconnection, networking, and exhibition.
The Commissioner of Police in Lagos, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh who is also a Classmate of the 1997 set of Political Science/International Studies from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria has assured participants of adequate provision, security, and safety for the accommodations of the visiting 1997 alumni who will be trooping in to Lagos from all parts of the world.
