FORCE CID LAGOS ARRESTS MARTIN OGBOLU AS APOSTLE CHIKERE NWAFOR DENIES ALL ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HER PERSON…

The Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Alagbon, Lagos, has arrested Martin Ogbolu over allegations of cyberbullying, criminal defamation, conspiracy, and the publication of false and malicious content against Apostle Chikere Nwafor, founder of Heaven’s Gateway Ministries.

Ogbolu’s arrest followed a formal criminal petition submitted by Apostle Nwafor to the FCID, in which she accused her estranged husband and others of orchestrating sustained online attacks aimed at damaging her reputation, dignity, and ministry through coordinated cyber harassment and defamatory publications.

Police sources confirmed that investigations are ongoing, while two other alleged collaborators — Pastor Sam Okpe and Precious Ukandu — are currently at large and have been declared persons of interest in the case.

Speaking during exclusive interview with mazi Sidney Nwachukwu publisher of African Times Magazine, Apostle Chikere Nwafor categorically denied all allegations levelled against her by Martin Ogbolu. She dismissed claims circulating online that she engaged in unholy sex or appeared in sex videos, describing such assertions as false, fabricated, and deeply malicious.

According to her, the videos and narratives being circulated were deliberately concocted to malign her character and bring public shame upon her person and ministry. She stressed that she would never engage in such disgraceful acts, insisting that the allegations were entirely untrue and intended solely to destroy her reputation.

Apostle Nwafor further revealed that during police interrogation, Martin Ogbolu reportedly admitted that several of his allegations were untrue, adding that his actions were driven by malice and a calculated intent to defame and cause reputational harm.

She also alleged that Ogbolu had, on multiple occasions, issued threats and openly boasted about plans to ruin her life and dismantle her ministry, actions she said formed part of a broader conspiracy to incite hostility and public ridicule against her.

In her petition, Apostle Nwafor maintained that the sustained cyber attacks spanned several months across multiple digital platforms, involving defamatory statements, voice notes, and misleading content deliberately crafted to undermine her standing within the Christian community.

Police authorities confirmed the arrest and stated that investigations remain ongoing, with efforts underway to apprehend the remaining suspects linked to the case.
