Dangote Commends Lagos Govt., LSSTF For Sustainable Security In Lagos

African billionaire and President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote on Thursday commended the Lagos State Government and the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) for their sustained commitment to strengthening security architecture in the state, describing Lagos as a model for public–private collaboration in security management, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
Dangote gave the commendation at the 19th LSSTF Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security with the Governor, which he personally attended, noting that a safe and secure environment remains fundamental to business growth, investment confidence, and economic stability. He praised the Executive Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for prioritising security as a cornerstone of governance and for consistently supporting security agencies with critical operational resources.

The business mogul specifically applauded the LSSTF for its transparency, accountability, and effectiveness in mobilising private sector support to bridge operational gaps faced by security agencies in Lagos. He described the Trust Fund as a national benchmark, adding that its structure and outcomes demonstrate how trust and partnership can translate into tangible security outcomes.
Dangote also acknowledged the leadership of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of LSSTF, Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi Etti and the Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr Ayodele Ogunsan, for sustaining the vision of the Fund and ensuring that private sector contributions are deployed strategically to improve security operations across the state.

While presenting the key of a brand new car on behalf of the Lagos State government to the immediate past Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, Alhaji Dangote also commended Abdurrazaq for his exemplary leader and stewardship while in office as the ES of the funding agency.
