Border Police Arrest ‘Human Sheep’ Attempting Bizarre Crossing into Spain
By Trek Africa Newspaper

Authorities in Algeria have arrested three men who attempted an unusually bizarre method of illegal migration by disguising themselves as sheep in an effort to slip into Spain.
According to security officials, the suspects covered themselves in layers of cotton wool, painted their faces to mimic livestock, and attempted to blend in with a flock being moved near a border transit route. Their plan reportedly unraveled when officers noticed some of the “sheep” walking in an unusually upright and coordinated manner.
Security personnel intercepted the men and took them into custody for questioning. Officials say the failed stunt highlights the increasingly desperate — and often dangerous — methods some individuals employ in their attempts to reach Europe.
Authorities are expected to investigate whether the men acted alone or were assisted by smugglers who may have facilitated the attempted crossing.
The incident has drawn widespread attention on social media, where many users have reacted with a mix of disbelief and humor. However, officials caution that despite the comedic elements of the case, it underscores the serious pressures and risks surrounding irregular migration in the region.
