AIG Fayoade Decorates Newly Promoted Officers In Zone 2 • charges them on professionalism, discipline and dedication to duties

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2, AIG Adegoke Fayoade has charges the officers and men of the command on professionalism, dedication to duties and discipline as he decorated the newly promoted officers within the Zone comprising Lagos and Ogun States with their new ranks.
In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Zonal PPRO, DSP Afolayan Gbenga stated that, “The assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos AIG Adegoke M. Fayoade, mni, psc, mnim, fisn, has decorated newly promoted officers serving within the Zone, comprising Lagos and Ogun States with their new ranks.”
According to the statement, “The decoration ceremony which was held at the Zone 2 headquarters saw officers, who were captured in the recent promotion exercise, adorned with the badges of their new rank amid cheers from colleagues, family members and well wishers.”
“In his address, AIG Adegoke Fayoade congratulated the officers on their well deserved promotions, describing it as a reward for their dedication, hard work and professionalism in the discharge of their duties. While emphasizing the need for discipline, respect for human rights and community oriented policing, the AIG charged the newly promoted officers to see their promotion as a call to more responsibilities, renewed commitments and efforts in ensuring the safety, security of lives and property.”
“AIG Adegoke Fayoade also commended the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D, NPM, and the Police Service Commission for their unwavering commitment to motivating officers through timely promotions, noting that such gesture is a morale booster to the officers, which will ultimately enhance quality police service delivery.”
