JUST IN: IGP Egbetokun Redeploys AIG Tunji Disu As AIG Force CID Annex Alagbon Lagos

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun yesterday Monday 2nd February, 2026 approved the immediate posting of AIG Olatunji Rilwan Disu as the new Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Force CID Annex Alagbon Lagos. The deployment is with immediate effect, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
Until this latest development, the senior officer, AIG Olatunji Disu was AIG in charge of Special Fraud Unit (SPU).
NAOSNP recalls that AIG Disu formally served as the Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, Commissioner of Police for Rivers State Command, among other exemplary roles. He was decorated with the current rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG on 25th March 2025.
