The recently held World Book Day event organized by TOS Educational Initiative at the Jakande Johnson Tinubu (JJT) park, Alausa, Ikeja received the proud partnership of the Prince Kazeem Eletu Odibo Foundation. The foundation which has at its core humanitarian support was represented at the event by its Managing Director, Mrs. Omobolanle Adebayo and Sports Director, Prince Lateef Ojora.
At the event, Trek Africa Newspapers had an exclusive chat with Prince Lateef Ojora, the Director of Sports, Prince Kazeem Eletu Odibo Foundation and he discussed the objectives of the organization. Read!!
Trek Africa: Can we meet you?
Prince Lateef Ojora: My name is Prince Lateef Ojora, also known as Shevchenko. I am the Director of Sports, Prince Kazeem Eletu Odibo Foundation.

Trek Africa: Can you tell us more about the Sports directorate which you head?
Prince Lateef Ojora: In the sports directorate, we help youths discover their sporting talent and when such is done, we give the youths opportunity to travel abroad to improve their skills. For example, we have three youths from previous competitions who are now in Chelsea in England, Cologne in Germany, and Portugal who are being helped by the foundation.
Trek Africa: What is the foundation’s role in education?
Prince Lateef Ojora: As an organization, we are into many humanitarian and youth activities, so our effort here is to inculcate reading habits in our youths and children so that they can build a legacy because once you have a good reading habit you can be sure they will have a sound footing in life and career. This is because youths don’t really want to read nowadays. It is a very welcome development by TOS Educational Initiative and that is why we are happy to partner them. This is where you will find Prince Kazeem because he wants to be part of activities that develop humanity.
Trek Africa: Tell us more about the personality of the founder in relation to other wealthy persons in the society?
Prince Lateef Ojora: Prince Kazeem, I can tell you is a philanthropist par excellence and whenever we talk humanity, he will be there. You will not be able to identify him specially among his staff because of his level of simplicity. He has never forgotten his past experiences or humble beginnings, hence, he can bring smiles to faces. He always say that all I want in my life is to bring joy to the needy. He is a great example of what a wealthy man should be. He typifies how a rich man can impact the lives of the needy.
Trek Africa: Governance is all about helping humanity, do you think he will be willing to go into politics?
Prince Lateef Ojora: This question came up at a forum yesterday where some people were agitating that come 2023, they will want the Prince who is from the Eletu Odibo chieftaincy family of Eti-osa to represent them. They said they will they will buy candidacy form for him to vie for House of Representatives seat in 2023, and this people are even from other ethnic groups. This is to show the massive admiration that people have for the man. He is definitely a man much appreciated for the good work he is doing.
