PDP Secures Councillorship Victory In Lagos LG Polls

The Peoples Democratic Party has been declared winner of councillorship election in 2025 Lagos local government polls.
The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), declared Babatunde Dosunmu of PDP as winner of councillorship seat for Ward D in Yaba local council development area.
The PDP candidate, Babatunde Dosunmu polled 462 votes to defeat the APC Candidate Oladipupo Adeosun who scored 252.
The house of representatives Member representing Lagos Mainland Federal constituency, Hon Olanrewaju Oshun lost his ward in Abule Oja ward.
He is the only opposition candidate that secured victory against APC in Saturday’s local government elections.
Babatunde Dosunmu reportedly dumped APC for PDP after losing out in ruling party’s primary election.
