Lagos APC Flags Off Council Elections Campaign • Present Party flags to all 57 Councils candidates

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Party in Lagos State has kicked off its campaign for the upcoming Local Government Council Elections, scheduled for July 12, 2025. At the ceremony held at the Party’s State secretariat in Ogba, Ikeja, the state Executive Chapter, presented party flags to all 57 candidates and councilors contesting under the banner of the APC Party in the coming Council Polls, symbolizing the party’s approval of their candidacy.
Hon Akinola Idowu, the APC candidate for Orile-Agege LCDA, and Alh Babatunde Azeez, the candidate for Agege Local Government Council, were among those who received the party flags. Alh Azeez was represented by Hon Abdulganiyu Abiodun Vinod Obasa, the Vice Chairmanship candidate for Agege Local Government Council.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by prominent party leaders and members, including Rt. Hon Mudashiru Obasa and Her Excellency Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, Barr Azeez Oladapo Yusuf (Ninolowo), Chief Safari Adaranijo, other prominent APC Party leaders, as well as Executive members of the state chapter of the APC Party.
With the party flags in hand, the candidates are now set to begin their campaigns, vying for the support of their constituents and working towards a victorious outcome on July 12, 2025.
The flag-off ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter in the build up to the Local Government Council Elections. As all the candidates embark on their campaigns, they will be working to convince voters of their suitability for office and the party’s vision for the development of Lagos State.
The well coordinated flag-off event, was held yesterday, the 17th of July, 2025.
