Ports Authority Police Western Command To Hold Medical Outreach, Clean-Up Exercise, Security Sensitization Walk To Mark National Police Day 2025

As part of her week long impactful activities to commemorate the 2025 annual National Police Day, the Ports Authority Police Western Command is set to hold a medical outreach, clean-up exercise, stakeholders town hall meeting, security sensitization walk among others.
In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Command’s Spokesperson, ASP Isaac Hundehin stated that, “The maiden edition of the National Police Day is here. The Ports Authority Police (Western) Command under the leadership of CP Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola, psc (+), mnips, has joined the Force headquarters, other formations, and state commands of the Force to commemorate the week long celebration commencing on 2nd April 2025 with activities around Apapa and its environs culminating with a grand parade and procession at the Eagle’s Square, Abuja on 7th April 2025.”
According to the statement, “Activities to mark the week long celebrations include town hall meetings with relevant stakeholders at the command headquarters, security sensitization walk from the Apapa Port main entrance to the Tincan island port, cleanup of designated areas around Apapa and its environs, and a medical outreach to General Hospital, Apapa.”
“The National Police Day celebration is a platform for the Nigeria Police Force to be celebrated, engage closely with the community, display it’s operational readiness while appreciating the selfless service of its officers and men in keeping the country safe, some of whom have paid the supreme price in the line of duty.”
