Ekiti State NSCDC New Commandant, CC Toma Matthew Enya Assumes Duty • assures strong synergy with other security agencies, groups

The newly posted Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC Ekiti State Command, CC Toma Matthew Enya has assumed duty at the State Command Headquarters, along Ikere road.
In a press statement e-signed and released to Trek Africa Newspaper by the Command’s Spokesperson, SC Afolabi Tolulope Apetuje stated that, “Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command has welcomed a new State Commandant posted to the State from the National Headquarters of the Corps by the Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi OFR mni to take over from Commandant Sosina Paul Oluwaseun PhD fsi who has moved to Jos for a managerial course at Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies.”
According to the statement, “The handing over ceremony that took place at the State Headquarters along Ikere road, had in attendance officers and men of the Command from all the formations in Ekiti State with a special attention on the change of guards ceremony anchored by the command’s training department where old flag was lowered and a new flag hoisted to signify the commencement of the administration.”
“The new Commandant, Mr Toma Matthew Enya thanked the Commandant General, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi OFR mni for sending him to Ekiti with an assurance that his administration will concentrate on the achievements of the former Commandant and open new channels to prevent crime and criminalites in the state.”
“Commandant Toma Matthew Enya who noted that Ekiti is one of the peaceful State in Nigeria which is an attestation of the work of the state government and all the security agencies in the state assured that, his command is ready to partner with any peace loving organisations individuals and groups that are ready to support the command, especially in the area protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure so as to allow end users to enjoy the services provided by government and other services provider in the state.”
“The new Commandant expressed his commitment to fairness, equity, justice and protection of fundamental human rights with a call to the general public to continue in their support for the command and other security agencies by giving quick information that can aid arrest of criminals and deter aggression.”
