An unconfirmed number of soldiers from Myoung Barracks, Yaba, Lagos, are feared dead after a suspected drunk driver crashed into them during morning physical training on Friday.
According to TheNiche, the incident, which occurred in the early hours, has thrown the military community into panic.
“There’s blood everywhere. I was spared because I was at the back,” one of the soldiers recounted.
This medium gathered that the soldier, who spoke anonymously, said the vehicle carried three young men suspected to be Yahoo Boys (internet fraudsters). The car plowed into the troops near the Myoung Barracks Army Sports Camp, causing chaos.
