President Bola Tinubu reappointed Bitrus Chinoko as the Director General of the Centre for Management Development (CMD) for a final term of four years.

The reappointment was announced in a letter dated August 28, signed by the Minister for Budget and Economic Planning, Sen. Abubakar Bagudu.

The letter stated, “Following your letter, CMD/DGO/ABJ/02/2024, I am pleased to inform you that His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has approved your reappointment as Director General of the Centre for Management Development for a second term, effective immediately.”

Chinoko was first confirmed as the substantive DG of CMD on April 28, 2020, by former President Muhammadu Buhari. He succeeded Dr. Kabir Usman, whose two consecutive four-year terms had concluded.
