WHEN SENATOR OLUBIYI FADEYI BECAME BOBASOFIN OF ONDO KINGDOM

What a colourful ceremony it was in Ondo Kingdom when distinguished Senator, Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi and many prominent Nigerians were honoured with chieftaincy titles by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Adesimbo Victor Kiladejo, The Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom as part of his 70th birthday celebrations.
At the regal event, which was spiced with a lot music and dance performances, Governor of Oyo State, H.E. Seyi Makinde was installed as Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom and his wife, H.E. Tamuno Makinde as Yeye Jagunmolu, while Senator Fadeyi was made the Bobasofin of Ondo Kingdom.
After the installation ceremonies, a grand reception unfolded at Robert Ware Event Centre, Ondo Town.
Guests were treated to sumptous meals and also entertained with evergreen music from Juju icon, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey.
Amongst the special guests who graced the occassion were Osun State Governor, H.E Governor Ademola Adeleke, Ooni of Ife, HIM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, HRM Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure, Ovation Media Group Chairman, Aare Dele Momodu, Olugbon of Orile Igbon, Oba Francis Alao & Olori Sola Alao, many former and serving senators including Deputy Senate President, Sen.
