FRSC RS2 Zonal Commander, ACM Igbokwe Retires After 35 Years In Service

The RS2 Zonal Commanding Officer, ACM Gilbert Igbokwe, has officially retired from active service after serving 35 years meritoriously in Nigeria’s leading traffic management agency, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

Speaking to newsmen, officers and men of the command at the valedictory event held at the Command’s Headquarters in Ojodu, Lagos, ACM Igbokwe said he had no regret joining and serving humanity through the Corps.

“I ACM Igbokwe (rtd) expressed my gratitude to God for seeing me through this service years. I also appreciated the agency for giving me the platform to serve humanity where I attained to the rank of an Assistant Corps Marshal after 35 years of meritorious service.”

The former Lagos and Ogun states Zonal Commanding Officer had served in different capacities before his retirement for attaining the age of 60 years. He appreciated the Corps Marshal, Dauda Alli Biu, FRSC management and officers of the Zone for their unalloyed support which according to him aided his recorded successes in the Corps’ profession.
He charged the staff to always be of good character, imbibe spirit of teamwork and to have it at the back of their minds that whatever they sow they shall also reap.
“Be more proactive, effectiveness with the sense of safety while on duty. Abstain form corruption and other form of indiscipline that could tarnish the corperate image of the Corps. FRSC would continue to have zero tolerance for unruly attitude from its personnel,” retired but not tired ACM Igbokwe, added.

In attendance at the event were :CC Plant Matthew
The Sector Commanders lagos and ogun state CC Babatunde Farinloye, CC Uga respectively, CC PD Davou (ZHOOPS), CC Modupe A . Adeope, and other senior staff of the Zone including the Special Marshals.
