The General Manager of Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA), Mr. Oluwadamilare Jamiu Ogundairo has pleaded with Lagosians to come out en masse this Saturday 18th March to re-elect the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for a second term in office. Noting that Lagos is on a progressive trajectory over the years, it requires continuity to soar.
Mr. Jamiu Ogundairo told Trek Africa Newspaper, ‘Lagos is a product of vision, a vision that is nurtured by continuity, dedication to excellence over and above religion, ethnicity, and other primordial sentiment. We cannot afford to drop the ball now. Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has been true to that vision.’
‘We shouldn’t forget also that he has had a fair share of unusual crisis to deal with, that weren’t planned for or expected. But in the tick of it, he showed leadership, creativity, and commitment. He was coolheaded, focused, and dogged. He deserves a second term.’

On the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his disposition to youth-oriented programmes, Ogundairo noted: ‘Many youths are not in the know about how Asiwaju had been from the beginning. You don’t know so much about Fela but you like afrobeat. Yorubas will say a culture that you discourage youths from participating in will die.’
‘That is why top on his campaign idea is student loans, that 4-year study will be 4 years, and that there will not be ASUU strike. He is very youth-friendly. He is attuned to modernity and technology. That lack of sense of history is not Asiwaju’s fault, it is the fault of our curriculum. And Asiwaju will rectify that’, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.
