BOLANLE RAHEEM GOES HOME TUESDAY 17TH JANUARY • NBA to hold auroral tributes at Law School in her honour tomorrow

The body of the slain lawyer, Barr. Bolanle Raheem will be laid to rest on Tuesday 17th January 2023. This important information about the woman who was shot on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2022 by a police officer was granted Trek Africa Newspaper by the National Assistant Publicity Secretary, Barr. Charles Ajiboye (KSM).

In the press release, Trek Africa Newspaper also gathered that the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) will hold a special tribute for the late member of the association tomorrow, Monday 16th January, 2023 at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos campus, Victoria island. ‘With the directives of The NBA President, Mr Yakubu Maikyau OON, SAN a befitting Day of Tributes will be organized by the NBA in honour of the of the deceased, Mrs Bolanle Raheem to be anchored by the NBA Lagos Branch. The event tagged: Auroral Tributes to Mrs. Bolanle Raheem by the NBA will be held on Monday 16th January,2023 from 1pm – 3pm at the Dining Hall of the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus, Victoria Island.’

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) thus enjoined lawyers to attend the event in order to pay last respect to the memory of the late colleague, Mrs Omobolanle Raheem.

Meanwhile, Trek Africa Newspaper obtain further information about the funeral arrangements from the family. The Service of Songs will hold at 5pm on Monday, 16th January, 2023 while the Burial Service will hold at 10 am on Tuesday, 17th January, 2023. Both events will hold at Olive Tree Parish. RCCG, Banana Island Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

It will be recalled that the NBA President, Yakubu C. Maikyau had constituted an ad-hoc committee in respect of the matter of Bolanle Raheem. However, due to the case of Gafaru Buraimoh, the Committee has been expanded by the NBA President with the addition of some members who will aid the success of the committee’s tasks.

The committee, Trek Africa Newspaper gathered, is now comprising of the following members:
