2023 PRESIDENCY: PRO-TINUBU GROUP, ITSO LEADS CLERGYMEN, OTHER CHRISTIANS TO PRAY FOR ASIWAJU AT EASTER

A pro-Tinubu group, Indomitable Tinubu Support Organization (ITSO) under the leadership of the Director-General, Hon. Abdoulbaq Ladi Balogun yesterday, Easter Sunday led the leaders and other members of the Christian Faith on a special prayer session for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his presidential ambition, and the nation’s development.
The clergymen who were present from various denominations agreed that with God on his side, Tinubu can be the next President and that Nigeria can be set on the path of development.

Archbishop Dr. Olorunfemi Ehindero, Bishop Oguntuase, Archbishop Dr. Paul Onanuga, Spr. Evang. D. O. Ogunronbi among other clergymen. Political leaders such as Prince Anofiu Elegushi, Engr. Joe Igbokwe, Hon. Mrs Kafilat Ogbara, Chairman of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, APC Youth National Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel, Ikorodu Local Government Vice Chairman, Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Hon. Japhet Odesanya, and others.

The Lagos State Commisioner for Home Affairs and the Chief Host of the prayer meeting, Prince Anofiu Olanrewaju Elegushi started ‘I want to say thank you to everyone here today. We are here to celebrate Easter with a prayer session for our father, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is to prove that God is everything, that if you have God on your side, you have everyone on your side. Asiwaju is a man of prayers. We are not just starting now, it is only that we are using the Easter period to gather Christians together to offer prayers for him.’
‘Today is not a speech-giving day but a day to appreciate God on behalf of our father, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is to offer prayers for our mission to make Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the next President of Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we keep on talking about Asiwaju, it is like we are underrating his popularity and spread all over the world. He is an household name, he is a man to reckon with, we believe in his idea. Everyday, on social media, they must talk about him. We believe in Asiwaju.’
‘The entire world is going through technology. But you cannot enjoy the full benefits of technology without having 24/7 electricity which will drive the economy. It is a critical aspect of the economy. If we get it right, other things will go on autopilot. We have two types of promises. You can tell us what you have not done before but the promise given by Asiwaju is what he has done before. So it is not difficult for him to do it again. I cannot talk about everything, we have youth engagement, we have other aspects of the economy’, Trek Africa Newspaper gathered from the member of the Lagos State cabinet.
On the strength displayed by Asiwaju as against the claim of illhealth, the Lagos Commissioner of Home Affairs said: ‘He is someone that is prepared for the job. This is the first time I will be seeing democratic consultation all across the 36 states of the federation while others who claim they are younger are in their house waiting for anointing.’
The Director-General of Indomitable Tinubu Support Organization (ITSO), Hon. Abdoulbaq Ladi Balogun stated: ‘On behalf of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we want to wish all Nigerians happy Easter. What we are doing today is to seek the face of God so that we can be guided aright so that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be the President of Nigeria come 2023.’
On the role of Indomitable Tinubu Support Organization (ITSO) as a pro-Tinubu group, ‘We are canvassing, we are telling our people to do it right so we can get a just society. Asiwaju is a man of many parts. He loves the Christians, Muslims, Southerners, Northerners. He is for all of them. He wants to become the President because of all these people. He is a detribalized Nigerian’, the MD of LAGFERRY shared.
Speaking to Trek Africa Newspaper, Archbishop Dr. Olorunfemi Ehindero (aka Baba Hallelujah) said: ‘Easter celebration is a period where we celebrate the remembrance of how Christ suffered and died for the poor. They criticized him, they called him names for that and when you look at what is happening now, the purpose of today, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made sacrifice, we believe that with the way the economy is down, we don’t need grammarians, we don’t need someone who has not been tested, we need someone who can revive the nation like Christ Jesus came to revive the world.’
‘The divine calling of God on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is what we are talking about. Is there any other person now that is able to raise leaders like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Give and it shall be given unto you that is what the Bible says, he has given unto people, it is time for people to give back to him.’

Also present at the prayer session, a royal father, Oba Gbolahan Simpson, the Jagunmolu of Shomolu Bariga noted: ‘Christ died for the entire mankind and resurrected. It is a special grace of Jesus Christ at resurrection. If you look at the opportunity that is coming at this time when Christians and Muslims are celebrating together, it doesn’t happen regularly, this coincidence is from God.’
‘This is the most suitable time to pray on this. If you go everywhere in Nigeria, you will hear about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and what he is doing in their villages. We want to pray and God will answer our prayers on this.’

In her closing remarks, Iyaloja General, Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo appreciated everyone who took time out during the Easter celebration to pray for her father. ‘I thank everyone who came to support my father’s dream. He has done so much for the country. He is a leader that has used his platform to empower and raise other leaders who have done well in their positions.’
‘Whatever a man sows, he shall reap. I know that if given the opportunity, he will do well’, the daughter of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu concluded.
