‘No matter how old a relative is, nobody will wish them dead, talk less of one’s mother’ says the MD/CEO of Saheeto International Ltd., Hon. Saheed Kekere-Ekun in his condolence press statement made available to Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper to the Oniru of Iru Land, HRM Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, Abisogun II and sister, Hon. Lasbat Miranda on the passing of their mother, Olori M. A. Akapo yesterday.

Passing in her 85th, the matriach of the Iru dynasty was praised for her landmark efforts in strengthening family values, Yoruba culture, and national development. King Saheeto noted ‘Mama gave her best for family and community. She has positively impacted many persons, even beyond her immediate family. I pray that Almighty Allah will grant Mama Aljanna fridaus’
According to Islamic rites, the late matriach, Olori Akapo was buried in the evening of yesterday, 30th March 2022.
