Olubadan Of Ibadanland, Oba Adetunji Laid To Rest At Popoyemoja Palace

The remains of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, were laid to rest at his Popoyemoja palace shortly after the burial service held at Mapo Hall in Ibadan, Oyo State on Sunday.

While some cried and wailed, some referred to him as a good man whose reign brought about peace and prosperity to Ibadanland and Oyo State in general.

The 93-year-old monarch, passed on at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo State today.

He was crowned the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan following his coronation on March 4, 2016.
