REPOSITION YOURSELVES AND TAKE CHARGE OF THE SYSTEM; OLUTIMEHIN TELLS THE NIGERIAN YOUTHS

The President of Greater Lagos Initiative, Prince Adeniyi Olutimehin has challenged the young people to rise up, use their great numbers, vitality, brilliance and connectivity to reposition themselves and take charge of various system of operations in the country.
He said this as a guest speaker at the Southwest Youth Economic and Security Summit held at NUT Pavilion, Ikeja, on Thursday.

The youth Activist maintained that he is very confident that the patriotic young people will do the magic of turnaround the fortune of Nigeria very soon, as no sector or group accomplishes any serious goal, without having the youth at the center point.
He stressed further that most of the founding Fathers of democracy and the leadership of various sectors in our country, started positioning themselves at tender age. As matter of fact, the extent at which any society can enjoy peace or have socioeconomic development is determined by the attitude, mentality and inventiveness of her youths.
As young people, “if majority of us stand and push a particular agenda with unification, we will always have our way and no reason force would failed to reckon with us in scheme of things” Olutimehin reiterated.
Prince Adeniyi Olutimehin however, urged the leadership of government to ensure that their policies, gives every youths equally opportunity for them to reach their full potentials, while he persuaded the youth to shun any engagement that will undermine the peace and progress of our country. Other Speakers at the event includes Mr. Femi Falana SAN, Princess Folasade Oba, Vice Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government and Mr. Saheed Balogun, Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Science and Technology.
