COCODIA INAUGURATES AIDES TO ‘YOUTH GOVERNOR ...RESTATES DIRI’S RESOLVE TO EMPOWER YOUTHS

Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, High Chief Collins Cocodia, has reiterated that the current administration led by Senator Douye Diri, will ensure Bayelsa youths are properly engaged, so that they can contribute their quota towards the growth of the state.
Chief Cocodia who made the emphasis while swearing in twelve selected youths from across the eight Council Area, to work as aides to Comrade Doubra Kumokou, popularly known as ‘The Youth Governor’, described them as being lucky and fortunate to be appointed, as he charged them to take their jobs seriously, and team up to attract more supporters to the prosperity government of Senator Douye Diri.
He said the Diri administration has come to stay, and will surely deliver its campaign promises to Bayelsans, hence the need for the new aides to Comrade Kumokou, to work harder, so as to get higher appointments in the future.
Also speaking, member representing Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency 2 at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Wisdom Fafi, commended Comrade Doubra Kumokou for taking the bold step to appoint aides to support his activities, as it will go along way in attracting lots of persons to the prosperity administration.
The Youth Governor, as he is fondly called, while congratulating his new aides on their appointments, said his decision was to key into the Governor’s idea of carrying youths along, adding that more youths will be appointed in the coming weeks.
He called on them to always reach out to him or the S.A Political on happenings and issues trending in the public space, so that it can be addressed promptly, by the state government.
Also present at the swearing in of the twelve aides, was the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Youth and grassroot mobilisation, Kelly Asari, Focal Person on Amnesty Matters, Mr Alaowei Opukeme, among others.
Highpoint of the event was the presentation of appointment letters to the new aides by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Chief Collins Cocodia.
