Abiodun, Isiaka Celebrates Former Ogun State Governor, Osoba at 81

Former Governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba is 81 years old today. Celebrating the iconic leader and mentor, Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun Abiodun, MFR on his Facebook wall wrote:
“To A Quintessential Leader, Aremo Olusegun Osoba at 81
Your journey through life, these past 81 years, has been strewn with honour, dignity, sacrifice, selflessness, and dedication to worthy causes.
“We are so very proud of your uncommon pedigree as a thoroughbred reporter, editor, administrator, astute politician and statesman.
“We cherish your wealth of experience, exemplary leadership and the rich heritage that you have bequeathed to us in the Gateway State. “
He added: “At a time like this, we cannot but celebrate your unwavering commitment to participatory democracy which has overtime helped to build strong institutions in the country.
“On behalf of the good people of Ogun State, my family, political associates, party stalwarts and faithful, I wish you many happy returns in sound health, Baba. Igba odun, odun kan ni, Sir.”
In the same vein, also extolling the virtues of Osoba, former Governorship candidate in Ogun State in the last general election, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI) in a press release pasted on social media, signed by him as cited by our correspondent, he said “I join family, friends, associates and well-wishers to felicitate with a political icon and quintessential, statesman, Chief Olusegun Osoba, the Akinrogun of Egbaland, who turns 81”.
Baba, your ascent to national prominence is traceable to hard work, honesty, diligence, devotion to principle and commitment to service.
“Your patriotism, statesmanship, and unrelenting passion for the good of Nigeria, particularly Ogun State will continue to mark you out as a true Leader, Father and Patriot – worthy of emulation”.
Isiaka also prayed for God’s Divine protection on Osoba and wished him many more fruitful years.
