CP DAAOR PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO 4 BRIGADE NIGERIAN ARMY, STRENGTHENS SECURITY COLLABORATION IN EDO STATE

The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, CP Patrick Daaor, psc(+), mnips, today, 8th September, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Headquarters of 4 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Benin City, as part of efforts to further strengthen the existing partnership and collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Army in maintaining peace and security across Edo State.
The Commissioner of Police was warmly received by the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General A. O. Balogun, alongside other senior officers of the Brigade.
During the visit, the Cp Patrick Daaor and the Brigade Commander held a special security engagement centred on the prevailing security situation in Edo State. Discussions focused on enhancing inter-agency cooperation, intelligence sharing, joint operational strategies, and other measures aimed at preventing and responding effectively to security issues across the State.

The meeting further underscored the commitment of both security agencies to sustaining a strong and coordinated security architecture that will guarantee the safety of residents, protect critical infrastructure, and maintain peace and stability in Edo State.
The visit also featured the presentation and exchange of gifts between the Commissioner of Police and the Brigade Commander, symbolising the cordial relationship, mutual respect, and strong partnership existing between the two security institutions.
