Uba Sani: Forest guards initiative will strengthen fight against banditry in Kaduna

Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, says the presidential forest guards initiative will strengthen ongoing efforts to combat banditry and other security threats in the state’s forests and rural communities.
Sani spoke on Thursday while receiving a delegation from the office of the national security adviser (ONSA), which visited the state to inspect the training of more than 1,000 forest guards expected to be deployed to security flashpoints.
