2027: Massive Turnout As Hon. Kasunmu ARK, others Lead Ikeja APC to Affirm Asiwaju Tinubu as Presidential Candidate

An unprecedented crowd of party faithful trooped out across various voting centres in Ikeja this morning as the Deputy Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. (Prince) Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), alongside other party leaders, mobilised members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in affirmation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s candidacy for the 2027 presidential election.
Waving their party membership slips in excitement and solidarity, thousands of APC members overwhelmingly endorsed President Tinubu with a resounding “YES,” demonstrating strong confidence in his leadership and administration.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the voting process at Ikeja Ward E, Hon. Kasunmu commended party members for their massive turnout, unity, and peaceful conduct throughout the exercise.
He urged members not to relent in their support for President Tinubu, stressing that the President remains committed to building a more prosperous, secure, and greater Nigeria for all citizens.
Hon. Kasunmu, the incumbent lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency II and APC candidate for the 2027 Lagos State House of Assembly election, was also actively present at the President’s voting centre located at St. Peter’s Primary School, Alausa, Ikeja Ward C, where he addressed party members and encouraged them to remain steadfast in their support for the APC and President Tinubu.
Today’s APC presidential primaries was a huge success across Ikeja Constituency 2.
