Easter Holiday: Commandant Keshinro Deploys 2,250 NSCDC Personnel, Assures Adequate Security, Protection of Critical National Assets and infrastructures in Lagos

The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC Lagos, Mr. Adedotun Keshinro has approved the immediate deployments of over 2, 250 officers and men to worship centres, recreation parks, other strategic points, spots and locations across the state.
In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Command’s Spokesperson, SC Oluwaseun Abolurin stated that, “Lagos State Commandant deploys 2, 250 officers and men to worship centres, recreation parks, other strategic points, spots and locations.”
According to the statement, “Consequent upon the Federal Government’s declaration of Friday, 3rd April (Good Friday) and Monday, 6th April (Easter Monday) 2026 as Public Holidays, by the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji – Ojo, to mark this year’s Easter celebration, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Lagos State Command has deployed its human and material assets to ensuring adequate safety and security across the state.”
“The State Commandant, NSCDC, Lagos State Command, Mr. Adedotun Keshinro has once again seized this holiday season to re-affirm, the Command’s commitment to protecting citizens and all critical national assets and infrastructure in the state across all sectors of the nation’s economy.”
“The Lagos State Commandant has also immediately, deployed, two thousand, two hundred and fifty (2,250) officers and men to ensure adequate security and protection of critical national assets and infrastructure in the state.”
“The Lagos State Commandant disclosed the importance of this deployment while addressing his management staff, Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, Tactical, Operational and Counter – Terrorism Commanders at the State Headquarters in Alausa, today, Thursday, 2nd April, 2026.”
“The Lagos State Commandant stated that operational strategies have been re – invigorated to rid the state of criminals and eradicate the nefarious activities of vandals and other criminal elements that could be inimical to its economic growth and development especially, before, during and after this crucial season of celebration.”
“The Lagos State Command of the NSCDC will also be collaborating with other sister security agencies across the state, to achieve optimal success during this festive season.”
“Officers and men of the Command have also been charged, to bring the right and appropriate impetus on board to protect all strategic locations, points, facilities, right of ways, oil pipeline installations, religious and worship centres, parks and gardens and all public and private in the state,
before, during and after the celebration.”
“The Lagos State Command has assured all the good people of the state that it will not also rest on its oarse at this period but rather deploy both physical and non – physical assets; robust intelligence gathering, intensive patrols – physical and psychological, crime prevention mechanisms, Special responses by Special Female Squad (SFS), Quick Intervention Squad approach (QIS) and collective security approach, to ensure a holistic security and safety during and after the celebration.”
“The Lagos State Commandant has also seized, the celebration to congratulate the Christian faithfuls, in the state and admonished all to imbibe the tenets of our Lord Jesus Christ, which characterize this season such as; love, forgiveness, sacrifice, passion, compassion, mercy, humility, tolerance amongst others.”
